Term 3 Tasks:
All Year 6 students will be working through all of these tasks throughout Term 3:
1. Re-visiting ‘Digital Citizenship’ by completing this online Test:

2. All Year 6 Students are to ENSURE they are working towards completing their eSmart Digital Licence by End of AUGUST at the VERY LATEST both in class AND at home
3. All Year 6 students will choose which creative item they wish to participate in

3. All Yr 6 students will begin to explore a new app called ‘PowToon’ to create amazing animations. What is PowToon?

 Term 2 Tasks:

Students your tasks this term are:

A. Continue working through your ‘Digital Licence‘ as you need to complete this by end of Term 2.

B. Complete the 4 different sections of the Google Doc Mrs Grasso shared with you ‘Google Docs Revisit’

C. Begin a mini unit entitled ‘Avatars’.
Your tasks are:

1. Open the ‘Google Slides’ called ‘Avatars’ that has been shared with you

2. Read through the instructions

In ICT over the next few weeks, your task is to complete a slide in this collaborative document, showing your understanding of ‘Avatars’.

  1. What are avatars? (your own individual definition)
  2. Why are avatars used?
  3. Explore a variety of ‘Avatars’ on Mrs Grasso’s Blog
  4. Create 2 different avatars + a CYBERSAFE message
  5.  Document which websites you have used to create your avatars explaining why they are appropriate to use.Mrs Grasso looks forward to seeing your designs and creations.
