Here are some great links to get you going with completing an Hour of Code.

1. What is ‘Hour of Code?’

The Hour of Code is a one-hour introduction to computer science, designed to demystify code and show that anybody can learn the basics.

Where to start?

1. Prep (K) – Year 2: Click on this link to start at the very beginning:  Course 1 (beginner)
2. Year  3 – Year 5 Try  Course 2: (more challenging)
3. Year  5 /6 Try Course 3: (much more challenging)

4. ‘Scratch Jnr’ is a great way to get a start. ‘Scratch Jnr‘ is ONLY available as an app for iPad or Android.


5. What about ‘ Hopscotch’ – This is ONLY available if you download it from the AppStore onto an iPad. Here is some info on this link
